Alexa routines allows you to automate actions in your smart home and combine a number of actions that execute with a single trigger.
A trigger will be in the form of a voice command, a specific time or a sensor event. The trigger is what starts the routine. For example, Alexa, good evening will lead Alexa to carry out a series of actions that you have requested that it carries out.
The good evening trigger for example, might close the curtains, turn on the lights etc.
These routines save you the trouble of having to repeat each task individually.
